How the BYU Marketing Lab Is Operating During COVID-19
First and foremost, the Lab is prospering! Current projects involve market research and branding/strategy, and the work is moving forward well. We just completed a slew of amazing projects at the end of the semester, which ended last week. The Lab has been working remotely for more than a month now, and has adapted to be as productive as ever.
The Marketing Lab has proven agile. We’re used to Zoom calls by now (our students have logged hundreds of hours for classes, project meetings, clients calls, etc.) Even as the pandemic began more than a month ago, the Lab found ways to deliver exceptional work to clients. We will continue to produce results, at a safe distance!
Some additional details:
FOR STUDENTS
Unfortunately, some of our students have had internships rescinded because of the pandemic. But, that is good news for companies exploring projects with BYU Marketing Lab, because there’s more talent ready and waiting to be used. We have students willing to redirect their efforts to Lab projects, and we’re already seeing excellent progress and results.
FOR CLIENTS
We have talented students with real-world experience working on impactful marketing projects. We continue to provide professional-grade marketing services, including competitive analysis, consumer insight, product and pricing strategy, and marketing strategy. These services, which are as important as ever in today’s world, are provided at a fraction of the cost of a typical agency.
We are anxious and eager to help our clients succeed during this unique time, and we look forward to offering our low cost, effective services to help even more recover from the effects of COVID-19.
